Is the skinny Kim Jong Un his sister?
Is the skinny Kim Jong Un his sister?
The mystery around Kim Jong Un only gets deeper with every passing day. The possibility of having a new ruler of one of worlds most secretive (and notorious) nation is high.
In case you didn’t know, Kim Yo-Jong is a North Korean politician serving as the Deputy Director of the Publicity and Information Department of the Workers’ Party of North Korea.
And people from all around the world have already started “stanning” her.
“Stan culture” describes an online phenomenon in which large communities of stalker fans engage in showing support of their favorite celebrities.
From drawing her and comparing her to their favorite anime characters to writing letters and making hundreds of fanpages on social media, there’s no denying that stan culture has gotten a bit extreme.
Sure, she’s pretty.
But she also runs gulags, enslaves her citizens, enforces systematic cruelty, public executions, mass starvation, labor camps, and is quite literally, threatening nuclear war against the US.
The North Korean regime is one of world’s most cruel and repressive. It strips its citizens of all sorts of rights and constitutional freedom. Otto Warmbier, an American college student, was accused of stealing a poster at his hotel in Pyongyang, and sentenced to 15 years of prison and hard labor.
This kind of behavior happens with so many other people as well. Murderers, serial killers, rapists, psychopaths, etc. All because they’re good-looking.
I swear, if people thought that Hitler was attractive, they would support him too.
Pretty privilege is real.
Sorry to break it to you, but she’s not a feminist icon. She’s a ruthless, next-in-line dictator. So don’t be too surprised when your “fave kween” nukes your country.
If you’re going to romanticize villains, stick to fictional ones.
