Npower Batch C 1 Beneficiaries Appeal For Exit Date Extension.

In view of the above, the Volunteers took to some of their discussion forums begging for an extension of the program disengagement date for batch C1.

Though the Npower Programme is one-year skill development and work experience acquisition program, it has helped the Beneficiaries financially in terms of meeting up with some little expenses.

The extension demand by the Npower volunteers does usually occur because of the fair of unseen circumstances. Some of the Beneficiaries mostly depend on the Npower monthly stipends to make ends meet even though the stipend payment usually gets delayed, there is this relief they get whenever they get paid.

Nonetheless, the Npower initiators have introduced an exit package called “Nexit Scheme” for the exited Npower volunteers but seen the launch of the scheme, they are yet to fully commence the program which seeks to train and equip qualified exited Npower volunteers with a business loan called Nexit loan powered by FG and the CBN.

Some of these empowerment initiatives by the Government do take time before implementation as such, it is advisable for the Npower volunteers to always have a plan b alternative so that when their time elapsed as a Npower beneficiary, they won’t end up in the street.
